We are spending our Chinese New Year holidays in the UK. The weather here in this part of the UK is very nice and sunny. We visited a number of places and the seaside. We also met up with our friends who have relocated here. We did a day trip to London and will probably do it again tmr. In London, we spent time in some museums and bookstores, which are no longer many to find in HK.
We spent a week in Osaka and Kyoto. The weather was great (just a bit too warm for me).
Now we are back to our hometown celebrate the new year.
Paul was seconded to Guam in 2001. We spent around half a year there. The stay was meant to be longer but returned to HK earlier than planned owing to the 911 incident.
Here are our very good friends from Guam whom we respected a lot. They came to HK for a visit and this is the first time we met in these 17 years!!!!! So happy!!! So precious!!!!
and the sky is so clear!
Happy to take a break
Can you see the two big screens across the harbour? Gigantic!
There was a patch of blue in between the red. So I believe the typhoon nearby won’t be affecting us much.
Still in good shape after the three-day wild camping ^^
Found the cup soup I used to drink in Bristol in this lovely shop!
